It's all about Attitude
"The longer I live, the more I realise the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important then
facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures,
than success, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance giftedness
or skill. It will make or break a company... a church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice
every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot
change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing
we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10%
what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes"

"Well by now your no doubt thinking that this story is going to end with everyone rideing off into the
sunset, liveing happly ever after. Well... it sure as hell didn't ! Unfortunately, do in part to all the
treatments Dnaielle had received over the years both of her kidneys failed. Mon and Desiree handled the
12 hrs of daily dialysis at home. Her health care was now provided by Tulane Medical Center in New
Orleans.
At 3:30 AM on March the 19th 19 and 98 Danielle passed away at Maine Medical Center in Portland
Maine due to complications with pneumonia. To say the whole ordeal was a rough ride would be an understatement. To say Danielles attitude was a great influence to a lot of people would be an
understatement. To say she touch the hearts of many along the way would be an understatement.
A person that will be long remembered by all."

One of the last Street Rod Events that Danielle attended was the Doweast Street Rod Run. She made
it a point to attended this event regardless of her health as this was an event that was at the top of her
list. An award has been presented each year at this event in her memory to someone in the "hot rod
world" that for lack of better words made her smile a tad larger. Thus far; Leon Simmons, Donnie Rowe and John Shaughnessey have received this award.
