This web site is a factual history of the trials and tribulations of a 1931 Ford and its owners. The folks that know this story have urged me to do this site
as
it is unique and an adventure. We do hope that you find this story interesting but on the other hand it really matters not to me if you don't. If at some point
you have a question or wish to contact me feel free to do so. If all is well I'll get back to you. So... its time get comfee, grab youself a cold Moxie, let the dog
out so he doesn't bug ya, put in your Elmore James CD and read on.

"As I recall I was born in Dearborn Michigan in the latter part of the year 19 and 30. I really don't
recall all that much of real early years cept it was a fun filled era for the most part. Don't know the
particulars but in the late 50s I somehow ended up in a place called East Dixfield, Maine. I wasn't
used all that much anymore as old age was creep'n up and so I ended up parked in a barn. That was OK with me as I'd bout had
it. Ah yes I thought, no more being
laughed at anymore while drive'n down the streets, heck I can't even keep up with the slowpokes
! I can fade away here in the barn and that will be that. Never in my
wildest dreams could I imagine what was to be in store for
me in the future ."

"Twas the year 19 and 61, I was spending my last years comfee cozy in the barn with the odd mouse
pass'n through every now and then. Yep... was pretty peaceful. Well all that was about to change as
I was purchased by a 13 year old chap named Dan who was from a place called Mexico, Maine.
Gees I remember thinking, this is just great! Here I am, ready for the scrapheap and along comes this
whippersnappe who can't even drive yet, and to make things worse, is going to use me to learn to drive
in ! Well by the mid 60s Dan had sorta mastered the art of driving, course he nearly beat me to death
in the process ! At this point in time I was hanging on by by a mere plugwire. I was ever so relieved
when Dan bought a 1955 Chevy and parked me out back. Peace at last, or so I thought".
